This is not an accident! A statement from the Cricket Board about the ICC cricket ban! I Sri Lanka Latest News

Krishantha Kapuwatta, Acting Secretary of the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute, says that the international cricket ban against Sri Lanka is not an accident and it happened due to the negligence of the authorities of the Ministry of Sports. href=”https://sinhala.mawratanews.lk/exclusive/the-cricket-board-has-asked-the-icc-to-ban-cricket-in-sri-lanka/”> Sri Lanka Latest News

He has mentioned it in a statement on social media.

Krishantha Kapuwatta says that when the representatives of the International Cricket Council visited Sri Lanka a few months ago, they warned that a cricket ban may be imposed if there is undue influence on Sri Lankan cricket.

The Acting Cricket Secretary also says:

“This is a very sad situation. This is not a sudden situation. In this regard, we worked to inform the responsible people for 4 to 5 months, but we did not get any good response. When the International Cricket Council Vice President Usman came to Sri Lanka, he even met the President and explained this situation. Now this situation has continued and today the whole world community has come to know about the situation in Sri Lanka. We are blaming each other in a very bad way. But let us all work together to restore this situation. That is what is being requested.
