Sri Lanka Cricket Squad Faces Setback as Two Players Denied US Visas for T20 World Cup

The selfie photo taken by the Sri Lankan cricket team and the American ambassador, Julie Chung, has created a lot of discussion on social media. Sri Lanka Latest News

This selfie was taken after joining the visa application process for the members of the Sri Lankan cricket squad to participate in the upcoming World Cup cricket tournament to be held in the West Indies and America.

There was also a friendly conversation between the American ambassador Julie Chung and the players representing the Sri Lankan national team.

However, the latest sources indicate that two people who were there had to face an unexpected experience.

That is because their visas were rejected by the American Embassy.

Sources further state that the visas of a Sri Lankan squad player and a team assistant who were to join the team on the tour have been rejected.
