Government Plans 33% Electricity Tariff Hike from Next Year, Says Patali Champika Ranawaka

Patali Champika Ranawaka stated that the government is planning to increase electricity tariffs by 33% starting from the beginning of next year, under the pretext of complying with the requirements of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
