Vincent Perera, a Sri Lankan national, has been sworn in as the new Attorney General of Seychelles. According to reports from Seychelles media, the swearing-in ceremony took place yesterday (16th) at the State House.
Born in Sri Lanka, Perera holds a law degree from the University of Colombo and has practiced as a lawyer before the Sri Lankan Supreme Court. His extensive legal experience includes serving as a solicitor and lawyer in Fiji, and he is also a certified mediator accredited by the Mediation Center in Singapore.
Prior to his current appointment, Perera served as a Legal Adviser in Civil Litigation at the Office of the Attorney General in Seychelles.
