Prof. G.L. said that the online security bill presented by the government will wipe out public rights and it is an extremely scary bill. Sri Lanka Latest News

He stated this while attending a press conference held at the head office of the Freedom People’s Alliance today.

He said that the government is bringing many bills to suppress the public opposition and that the 5 members of the commission established by the proposed online security act will be appointed by the president, thus they will not be accountable to the legislative committee, that is, they will have the power of God.

Further commenting, he pointed out that if the Anti-Terrorism Act and the Online Security Act brought by the government are passed, they will have to face many political, economic and social problems.
