Residents of Thummulla took to the streets to protest against the construction of a massive 40-storey building by Homeland in the Thummulla area.
Protesters questioned why the Urban Development Authority (UDA) has restricted the general public from constructing buildings exceeding three storeys, while granting permission for Homeland to develop a 40-storey housing complex.
They further stated that, despite numerous complaints lodged with the Urban Development Authority regarding this matter, no action has been taken so far.
