Powerful Political Figures Behind Massive Media Campaign Targeting Ranga Dissanayake
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Information has surfaced regarding a plan to launch a large-scale media campaign targeting the Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, High Court Judge Ranga Dissanayake.

It has been revealed that several influential figures from both the United National Party (UNP) and individuals associated with the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) are behind this coordinated propaganda effort.

Reportedly, the first phase of this campaign was initiated within Parliament last week, followed by an intensified attack on Mr. Ranga Dissanayake outside Parliament.

Sources further indicate that the group intends to escalate this campaign in the coming weeks, focusing their efforts more aggressively on Mr. Dissanayake.

It has also been uncovered that these parties are prepared to spend an exceptionally large sum of money—far beyond expectations—to drive this campaign forward.
