The Sri Lankan Government published an extraordinary gazette with effect from Wednesday (23) relaxing the import ban on multiple items.
These include Refrigerators, freezers and other refrigerating or freezing equipment, Air conditioning machines, Household or laundry-type washing machines.
At the same time, multiple goods, including perfumes and toilet waters, pre-shave, shaving, or after-shave preparations, and personal deodorant, shall be allowed subject to the prior approval of the Controller General of Imports and Exports.
