The Supreme Court ruled today (08) that State Minister Diana Gamage has no legal qualification to sit in the Parliament of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka Latest News
The Supreme Court announced this decision after hearing an appeal petition submitted by Mr Oshala Herath, a social activist.
This petition was submitted requesting a ruling that Mrs Diana Gamage is not legally qualified to sit in the Parliament of this country as she is a British citizen.
It is learned that all the three judges have given the verdict unanimously.
