South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has again assured President Ranil Wickremesinghe that he will provide continuous support for the development of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka Latest News

In conjunction with the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, on September 18, the met the leaders of the two countries met in New York and held bilateral discussions.

It has also been informed that special attention will be paid to the decision to expand trade and investment opportunities between the two countries through the Trade and Investment Promotion Framework (TIPF)

It has been further stated that the South Korean President, who has reconfirmed his commitment to strengthening the relations between the two countries in a wide field, expects to meet President Ranil Wickramasinghe again in the near future to discuss the matter further.

At a time when the Republic of Korea is expanding its involvement in the Indo-Pacific region, President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s statement on the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries has also been praised by the South Korean President.

Also, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, who has appreciated the program carried out by President Ranil Wickremesinghe for the people of Sri Lanka, wishes President Ranil Wickremesinghe strength and good health to continue the program.
