He mentioned that by now election operation rooms have been activated in every police station about the presidential election, and in addition, police operation rooms are operating at the police division level.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police said that less than ten incidents of violation of election laws have been reported to the police.
Mr. Gunasekara also mentioned that the emergency vehicle inspections conducted using roadblocks will continue to be implemented as usual.
