A group of local residents gathered at the Thirappanee Divisional Secretariat this morning, seeking urgent solutions to the ongoing issues caused by wild elephants roaming the Thirappanee area.
The residents expressed their frustration, stating that previous discussions with the Divisional Secretary had been unproductive.
In a show of protest, the group later surrounded the Public Coordination Office of the Thirappanee National People’s Power.
The situation escalated, prompting police intervention to manage and disperse the demonstrators.
