Yesterday (13) a protest was held by Sri Lankans living in Berlin, Germany.
It is said that a petition was also handed over to the European Parliament at the end of the protest organized by the ‘Berlin Sri Lankan Union’.
It is said that the petition handed over to the European Parliament organized by the Berlin Sri Lankan Union called for the Ranil-Rajapaksa government to be forced to dissolve the parliament and hold an election against the illegal arrests.
Mohammad Rizmi and Madhuka Weerasinghe have delivered the petition to the ruling Social Democratic Party – SPD representative Cordula Klein.
