Preform or leave : President warns State Sector
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

President Ranil Wickramasinghe today (21) emphasized in Anuradhapura that if there are State employees who cannot work properly, they should leave immediately, ‘ perform or leave !

Joining the Anuradhapura District Development Council, President Wickremesinghe expressed that the time has come to unite and work together, as state employees at a grassroot level should work for the betterment of their Grama Niladhari Division, as the Government is not ready to let anyone consume its time without a purpose.

Stating that the Anuradhapura religious areas will soon be developed into a tourist attraction, the president said that a committee representing all stakeholders relevant to that purpose will soon be appointed, and foreign advisors will be factored into its development.

Mr. Wickramasinghe further stated that the old system of Governance has been rejected by the people, and pointed out that the United National Party always remained at the forefront of uniting everyone without limitations. He insisted either ‘perform or leave’ to all state sector employees.
