Former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka has urged the government to promptly initiate a third cultivation season while sufficient rainwater remains, rather than making naive claims that the rice shortage resulted from the previous administration’s rice distribution.
He further emphasized that this proposal was a highly constructive recommendation recently put forward by an engineer.
