At the Navagamuwa Police Station, a person was beaten to death with a sharp weapon.
According to the Police Media Spokesperson’s Office, the killing occurred this morning while an investigation into a complaint filed by a woman was underway (August 7).
According to the Police Media Spokesman’s Office, the respondent and another person arrived and that person stabbed the respondent to death.
A 52-year-old man died as a result of stab wounds.
The suspect has been apprehended, and Navagamuwa police are investigating the incident further.
