The Secretary General of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has requested the President to bring former President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to Sri Lanka as soon as possible and to provide appropriate security and facilities.
This request was made during the meeting with the President and Mr. Basil Rajapaksa.
Former minister Basil Rajapaksa, the national organizer of Pohottu, has said there that the Pohottu group will give full support to the President to build the country by solving the current economic crisis.
It is reported that Prasanna Ranatunga, Sagara Kariyawasam, Rohitha Abeygunawardena, Johnston Fernando, Pavithra Vanniarachchi, Namal Rajapaksa and Sanjeeva Edirimanna participated in this discussion.
