Mr. Wijayadasa Rajapakse had filed this petition asking for an interim injunction to suspend the operation of the injunction order issued by the Colombo District Court against him preventing him from acting as the Acting Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
The Court of Appeal issued this order after considering the petition submitted by Mr Wijayadasa Rajapaksa.
