Mr. Palani Digambaram said that none of the Minority National Party leaders will join Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe.

He said that no party leader including Rauf Hakeem, Rishad Badurdeen, Mano Ganesan, V Radhakrishnan will join the President.

Mr. Digambaram said that four or five members of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya should join the President but no one else will jointhe government.

He pointed out that there was no way that Mr Wickramasinghe can win the presidential election and that Mr Sajith Premadasa would definitely win the presidential election.

From the day he became president, the president had first planned to take a large group from Samagi Jana Balavega to the government and run for the presidential election.

But that plan of the President was not successful and no Sahab MP joined the President.

After that, the President’s plans were to take the minority party leaders, who are the deciding factor in the presidential election.

For that, a big operation was launched by the President in the last few weeks.

But Mr. Digambaram said that he had discussed with all the minor party leaders and none of them were ready to join the President.

He pointed out that Mr. Sajith Premadasa will have the support of all those party leaders.
