A suspect involved in the killing of PHI in Karandeniya  arrested! Trapped attempting to leave for Dubai under a false name! A Former commando soldier! I Sri Lanka Latest News

A resident of Elpitiya who was wanted for several other murders including the killing of Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors Association treasurer Mr. Roshan Kumara was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department officers yesterday ( 06) at night. (Sri Lanka Latest News)

It is reported that this suspect has tried to escape from the country using a forged passport.

The police have uncovered the facts that he spied on the public health inspector for shooting and the police say that they will be able to uncover more information about the related murder from him.

A 30-year-old resident of Elpitiya, Karandeniya area named Patthini Devage Thivanka Manohara has been arrested and he was an ex-soldier attached to the commando regiment of the Sri Lanka Army.

Maduraduwage Dilshan Madhusankha de Silva has prepared a forged passport and he boarded Emirates flight EK-653 at Katunayake Airport yesterday (06) at 07.15 night to escape to Dubai. While arriving at the airport, the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department arrested him.
