CID is on the trail of Priyamali’s “gold bars”!

The Criminal Investigation Department has started an investigation to find the people who made the brass chunks that were used by Thilini Priyamali to deceive the businessmen as gold bars.

The CID believes that since the brasses were arranged in the chamber in such a way that they appear to be real gold bars, the CID believes that it will be possible to reveal a lot of information from the person who prepared the brass bars.

Investigations have revealed that many businessmen who were caught in Tilini’s fraud were deceived by her by pretending that these brass blocks were gold bars and saying that they would sell the gold and give them money.

These 10 brass blocks were tricked by her lover, Isuru Bandara, who showed Tilini to be her husband and claimed to be gold. Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department found 08 of those brass boxes at Isuru’s house in Pirimathalawa. Investigations have revealed that Thilini has given these brass blocks to many businessmen claiming to be gold bars. Information from the Criminal Investigation Department stated that no complaints have been received from those businessmen so far.
