The Attorney General today (22) said that the Attorney General will not represent several respondents including former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, who are named as respondents in the petition filed requesting a ruling that basic human rights are violated through the decision taken to purchase medicines from two unregistered Indian companies under the Indian Loan Scheme and informed the Supreme Court. The Attorney General gave this notice to the Deputy Solicitor who represented the Attorney General when this petition was called today.
After that, the court ordered to adjourn for the consideration of the petition.
