The Criminal Investigation Department has started a special investigation into the assets and liabilities of many high officials of the Ministry of Health as well as the bank accounts used by them. (Sri Lanka Latest News)
The assets of the secretaries of the ministry to the directors and the pharmacists will be checked accordingly.
These investigations have been started by considering the information revealed in the questionable minor drug case currently being heard before the court and the complaints submitted by civil organizations.
