Election monitoring organizations have planned to convene an all-party conference against the postponement of local government elections and to protect people’s sovereignty.
Chief of Operations of Election Violence Monitoring Center, Attorney at law Mr. D. M. Dissanayake mentioned that the all-party conference will be held in Colombo on the 9th with the participation of representatives of political parties representing Parliament, monitoring organizations and civil organizations.
