A member of the Habaraduwa pradeshiya saba of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has taken off the microphone mounted on the table and assaulted a member of the Janata Vimukthi Peramuna.
The Janata Vimukti Peramuna member who was injured in the attack during the local council’s monthly meeting held yesterday (21) was admitted to Karapitiya Hospital for treatment.
