The Ministers had taken steps to strongly attack the Director General of the Animal Feed Department in the COPE committee for not allowing the import of eggs from India, which has bird flu.
Mr. Nimal Lanza once said that the public should go to their homes and attack such officers.
Also, Mr. Mahindananda Aluthgamage said that the Director General will not allow the import of eggs.
But the director general continued to say that it is risky to allow the import of eggs from India where there is bird flu.
