Today, a significant meeting unfolded between opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa and Norwegian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mrs. May Elin Stener, along with Johan Bjerkem, the second secretary of the Norwegian Embassy. The focal point of discussion revolved around the prevailing conditions in Sri Lanka. Mr Premadasa provided insights into the nation’s current economic challenges and outlined the strategies of Samagi Jana Balawega to address them.
He underscored the pivotal nature of the upcoming elections, emphasizing the importance of the political landscape in the country this year. Mr. Premadasa elaborated on Samagi Jana Balawega’s blueprint for revitalizing the nation post the present regime, emphasizing the transition towards a more populist government.
