A drastic change in the current regime is essential! At a critical time, the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka makes a decisive statement! Sri Lanka Latest News

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka has issued a statement pointing out that a strong change is needed in the current system of governance to find expenses for the difficulties faced by the people. (Sri Lanka Latest News)

The announcement further states that even though 5 years have passed, justice has not been served for the victims of the Easter attack.

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka has stated this year’s Easter, saying that this year’s Easter is being celebrated at a critical juncture socially, economically and politically.

To find sustainable solutions for the severe difficulties that the people are facing, the bishops’ conference points out that there is a need for a drastic change in our system of governance and also points out that it is the responsibility of every citizen to act for it.
