A heated debate occurred in Parliament today between Minister Harin Fernando and the main organizer of the opposition, Lakshman Kiriella. Sri Lanka Latest News
The reason for this was a statement made by the Kiriella MP the day before.
Mr Kiriella said that two judges had written the judgment regarding the cases of two MPs who went to the government from us, and one judge had not written the judgment.
Commenting on the matter, Minister Harin Fernando said that his privileges have been violated through this statement, and he is requesting the appointment of a Parliamentary Select Committee to investigate it.
