9,300 scholars have gone abroad for employment  in 7 months! Sri Lanka Latest News

According to the Foreign Employment Bureau, about 9,300 scholars and professionals have gone abroad for work in the last 7 months of the year. (Sri Lanka Latest News)

The National Exporters Council points out that the export industries are currently facing a serious crisis due to the departure of various professionals

According to the 2022 annual report of the Central Bank, there is an increase of 154.4% compared to the year 2021.

In 2020, the number of highly educated professionals who have gone abroad for work is 2,957.

Last year it increased to 14,307, and in the last 7 months the number is 9,300.
