The three-judge Gampaha High Court has ordered the release of the 39 suspects in the Amarakirthi Athukorala murder case on bail. Sri Lanka Latest News
The two 32 suspects who are currently in remand custody and the 05 suspects who were previously on bail were ordered to be released on cash of five lakh rupees and four personal bails of rupees 20 lakh each.
He made the order when the case regarding the killing of Podujana Peramuna Member of Parliament Mr. Amarakirthi Athukorala and his personal bodyguard in Nittambuwa town was heard again today at the Gampaha High Court.
The case was heard before the three-member High Court bench comprising of Sahan Yapa Bandara, Rashmi Singappuli and Ruwan Pathirana.
