It is reported that a group of relatives of the missing persons have started this hartal movement demanding that an international inquiry be conducted regarding the Mullaitivu – Kokkuthuduwai burial ground and proper solutions to the problem of the missing persons.
The Jaffna University Students Union has also issued a statement stating that it will support this hartal.
