The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning indicating a high likelihood of thunderstorms accompanied by strong lightning in the Northern, North-Central, and Eastern provinces during the evening or night hours.
The statement further notes that temporary strong winds may also occur in these areas during thunderstorms.
In light of this, the Meteorological Department urges the public to take all necessary precautions to minimize risks associated with lightning.
