Mr. Chamal Rajapaksa and Mr. Shashindra Rajapaksa have asked the President to remove the three sugar companies under the Ministry of Plantations namely Palwatta, Higurana and Kantale and get them under the President’s preview.
It has been learned that this meeting took place after the president reshuffled the cabinet.
