Dr. Deepal Perera, a specialist doctor at Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital, Colombo, said that since the weather is hot these days, bathing children can cure many diseases including skin diseases.
He also stated that there is a risk of skin diseases such as skin blisters among children.
He said that to prevent dehydration among children, they should be given more liquids including water and it is important to bathe children twice a day.
He also said that because of the dry weather, the heat is high not only during the day but also at night.
