The Gampaha police say that a 31-year-old resident of Kandana area was arrested in Gampaha for allegedly crediting money from the bank accounts of various people to his bank account. (Sri Lanka Latest News)
Four mobile phones, three small mobile phones and 73 SIM cards belonging to the suspect were also taken into police custody.
This information has been revealed after a group of police officers who were suspicious of a person traveling in Gampaha town arrested the suspect.
The police also said that many complaints have been received against the suspect in several police stations.
