When Sajith Premadasa Donated Computers and Buses to Poor Schools, He Was Blocked—Politicians Claim They Refuse School Events!

Matale Vijayapala Vidyalaya’s annual inter-house sports festival concluded in grand style at the Bernard Aluvihare Sports Ground in Matale, with Mahasen House securing the overall championship with an impressive 964 points. Gemunu House emerged as the runner-up, scoring 856 points in a highly competitive event.

The sports festival was held under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious Affairs, and Cultural Affairs, Gamagedara Dissanayake, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event was meticulously organized under the guidance of Principal Asela Ahasdeniya and witnessed the participation of a distinguished gathering, including Matale Divisional Secretary P.B. Senadheera, former students, and parents.

01: The championship trophy of Mahasen House was presented to the house captain by Deputy Minister Gamagedara Dissanayake.
