We are not ready to raise our hands, as Ranil suggests! Pohottuwa once afraid to even mention the IMF now become IMF slaves. Sajith in Parliament- VIDEO

According to the opposition leader, he has never played with the lives of 220 lakh people in this country and has never attempted to drag their lives to the brink of death. Every time the Samagi Jana Balawegaya and the Samagi Jana Alliance met with IMF representatives, they told them to help our country.

The opposition leader recalled how some have betrayed the country and its people throughout history, and claimed that the Samagi Jana Balawegaya did not play the role of such a traditional opposition.

The opposition leader, who stated that he and the people of the country have the right to know the IMF proposals, also recalled how Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe questioned Basil Rajapaksa about the IMF proposals.

The opposition leader questioned how the government, which has no civilised desire to appoint Mr. Harsha de Silva to the finance committee, is asking for opposition support, and claimed that the people of Pohottuwe, who were afraid to even mention the IMF back then, have now become IMF slaves.
