The water supply to the section of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Wijerama residence, where his security personnel are accommodated, has been disconnected due to unpaid bills amounting to 300,000 rupees.
However, reports confirm that the water supply to the area where the former President himself resides remains unaffected.
Attorney-at-Law Manoj Gamage, the media spokesperson for Mahinda Rajapaksa, stated that the water bills for the official residence of the former President are covered by the Presidential Secretariat.
