Wasantha Mudalige, Galwewa Siridhamma Thero, and Hasantha Gunathilaka have been arrested and held under the Prevention of Terrorism Act, according to Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.
Wasantha Mudalige’s life, according to the opposition leader, is currently in danger, and there are allegations that he is being transported from the prison to various locations during the night. The opposition leader stated that the administration will lend impetus to human rights initiatives against the country and questioned whether the student battles are being assaulted for this aim.
The opposition leader, who has stated his strong opposition to terrorism, has also stated his objection to imprisoning innocent people in the name of terrorism.
