Village-to-Village Erosion Begins Former SLFP  & Pohottuwa MPs Join Sajith, Aligning with Opposition Leader! [PHOTOS] | Sri Lanka Latest News

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramune (Pohottuwa) and many other local government councillors and women councillors of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party have joined the Samagi Jana Balawegaya to support the country-building program of the opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa. Sri Lanka Latest News

Among them, Mr Nandasena Herath, former Deputy Minister of Polonnaruwa District of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, Mrs Ariyavathi Galappatti, former Minister who was elected to the Eastern Provincial Council from Trincomalee district representing Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, and former Provincial Council member Dilip Kumara who was elected to the Western Provincial Council representing Gampaha district. Mr Rajapaksa and former Provincial Councilor Mr Anil Kumara Wijesinghe were elected to the Western Provincial Council from Kalutara district.

In addition, Mr Rehensiri Varagoda, a former member of the Western Provincial Council from the Gampaha district representing the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, as well as Mr Prasanna Withanage, a former member of the Kalutara Municipal Council, joined the Samagi Jana Balawegaya to support the opposition and Mr. Sajith Premadasa.
