Dr. Sarath Amunugama has said that he decided to resign from all positions in Mawbima Janata Party led by Dilith Jayaweera because the party decided to join hands with racist political party leaders. Sri Lanka Latest News
Mr Amunugama, who has said that he was never in favour of racist politics, said that he expected Mawbima Janata Party to go on a new political journey by attracting the youth of this country.
However, Dr. Sarath Amunugama says that he decided to step down from all the positions of the party after the party decided to join hands with the racists.
He said this with the island newspaper.
