A vessel believed to be a Chinese ship, which was traveling toward Iran through the Strait of Hormuz, was reportedly turned back by the United States Navy.
On April 24, the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115) fired warning shots at a ship heading toward an Iranian port. Following the warning, the vessel was forced to change its course and return.
