The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced that 3,065 Sri Lankans are among the illegal immigrants set to be deported under the new administration’s crackdown on undocumented individuals.
According to ICE, the new U.S. administration has compiled a list of 1.445 million illegal immigrants from various countries who are residing in the United States unlawfully. The finalized list includes individuals scheduled for removal.
Additionally, a separate list has been prepared identifying countries that do not support the U.S. government’s deportation efforts. Notably, Sri Lanka is not among them.
