The Chairman of the National Housing Development Authority, N.B.M. Ranatunga, has tendered his resignation.
His office has confirmed that the resignation letter has been officially submitted to the Minister in charge.
Ranatunga was appointed to the position on October 10 and served for only three months before stepping down. In his resignation letter, he has provided a detailed explanation of the reasons behind his decision.
Meanwhile, on the 29th, it was reported that the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board, Ramal Siriwardena, had also resigned from his position.
Additionally, Dr. Senesh Dissanayake Bandara, who was appointed as the Chairman of the National Television, has recently stepped down as well.
