Areas proposed to be levied include large-scale tuition, international schools, private medical clinics, engineering and surveying services, etc.
The State Minister has further said that the Inland Revenue Department has started investigating the companies’ income under these sections.
He made these comments while addressing journalists in the Kegalle area.
