Trying to appoint 5 more to the cabinet!

According to high ranking sources, President Ranil Wickremesinghe is going to appoint several more cabinet ministers during the budget period.

According to the constitution, the president can increase the cabinet to 30. The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) earlier requested the President to swear in the remaining number of ministers to run the government.

Accordingly, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP Pavitra Vanniarachchi, C.B. Ratnayake and S.M. There are indications that Chandrasena will get ministership.

In addition, Ceylon Labor Congress MP Jeevan Thondaman and Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) MP Duminda Dissanayake are also said to be included in the new cabinet.
