It is reported that a crude oil ship which was banned from entering Sri Lanka by the Attorney General is making arrangements to return to Sri Lanka despite the orders. Sri Lanka Latest News

It is stated that they are working to unload crude oil through it in forth coming December.

While this contract has been given, the Attorney General has banned the ship from entering Sri Lanka and due to this the name and country of registration has been changed and it is ready to reach Sri Lanka again.

He is scheduled to come to Sri Lanka in December, registered under the Indonesian flag.

While this ship was on its way to Sri Lanka earlier, the Attorney General had refused to allow it to enter the country stating that the transactions were not legal.

It has also been revealed that a large-scale supplier of crude oil to Sri Lanka is behind this deal with political connections.

This ship was supposed to leave Russia first and reach this country in July.

Until now, the ship has been detained in international waters with an order from the Attorney General.
