It is reported that many trade union representatives have questioned the party leaders regarding JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s non-participation in the domestic debt restructuring decision. Sri Lanka Latest News

Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s name was mentioned in the list of speakers in the Parliament today and because of that the union representatives of the party have come to know the position of Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake regarding the restructuring of the local debt.

But Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake did not come to Parliament today and he is still on a visit to Australia.

However, neither Mr. JVP Anura Kumara Dissanayake nor the other JVP members of Parliament, Mr. Vijitha Herath and Ms. Harini Amarasuriya, made any comment regarding the restructuring of local debt during the past few days.

Mr. Vijitha Herath took steps to present some opinion about it only yesterday.

Mrs. Harini Amarasuriya was also abroad recently and after her arrival in Sri Lanka she spoke about education reforms, which is a special event.

It has been learned that the trade union representatives of the party are surprised and disappointed that Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake did not come to Parliament today despite such a background.
