The Government Radiology Technologists Association has reported that three out of the five machines used for cancer treatment at the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital are currently out of order.
Association Chairman Chanaka Dharmawickrama stated that as a result of this breakdown, radiation treatment for approximately 250 patients per day has been disrupted.
He urged authorities to take immediate action to restore the malfunctioning machines and resume essential treatment services without delay.
